Cold start trouble possible ignition issue?

I could use some advice here. Lately, my SV650 has been acting up during those early morning starts before I head to the bakery. It cranks really well but just won't catch unless I give it a little throttle. Once it warms up, though, it starts up perfectly fine.

I'm starting to suspect it might be an electrical issue, maybe something with the ignition source is acting weird in the cold. The battery seems good, but I haven't had a chance to check the plugs or connections yet.

Has anyone dealt with something similar? I'd really appreciate any tips on where to start looking.

Have two options and hotspots for you, check those plugs and make sure the gaps are right then inspect your connections for corrosion, especially the grounds, if the battery is good, it's probably not electrical power but ignition timing or fuel delivery being off when cold

Suzuki's cold-start enrichment system is notoriously half-baked on these bikes. Blaming the ignition's just chasing shadows; start by cleaning the idle air control valve and checking for vacuum leaks.
