Balance issues?

When I hang off to the right, I can brace well thanks to the tall heel guard on the right rearset. But the left side for me... feels super awkward. There's nowhere to lock my heel into, so it ends up being all quad and no support. So now left turns feel way less stable. Is this just a design issue on the S model or do others feel this too?

You're not alone in this and this asymmetric thing has been bothering me ever since I got it. Thinking about some aftermarket options just to feel more balanced

I recall taking a spin on a friend's S model and experiencing the same sensation, while the right side felt solid, the left side made me feel like I was hovering. I thought it was just my imagination until I switched bikes. In the end, I fashioned a small heel block from some leftover aluminum to even things out. It wasn't the best-looking solution, but it did the job.

If a bike's rearset design favors one side over the other in cornering support, that's not a quirk, it's a flaw. Symmetry matters in aggressive riding, and manufacturers cutting corners on left-side ergonomics need to stop treating performance like an afterthought.

Hmmm I think @motomayhemmonday484 is making some sense here with the aluminum heel block idea. I mean it might not win style points, but function always wins when you're on the road, doesn't it? This is some safety issue now bet.

That's a good fix! Did you ever figure out what caused that uneven feel? was it the peg height, seat shape, or something else? I've felt a similar imbalance on a test ride and thought it was just me.
