Anyone here everdone the Iron Butt 1000 in 24 hours on an SV650? Im thinking about trying it and wondering if its doable on this bike. Any tips on setup, comfort, fuel stops, or just staying sane would be really appreciated.

Definitely doable on an SV650. Try adding a comfy seat pad, throttle lock, and a hydration setup if you can. Snack often, stretch every stop, and don't push through fatigue. Good luck!

Doing an Iron Butt 1000 on an SV650 isn't crazy, it's brilliantly dumb in the best way. The bike can handle it, but your body might not. Truth is, riders obsess over machines, but it's usually your neck, knees, and butt that tap out first, so prioritize comfort mods over horsepower.

@Banby1 Haha, brilliantly dumb sums it up. That seat is just gonna feel unbelievably baaad by hour 16 if you don't prep it. Anyway OP, this guy right here @BigBreadfruit528 is giving good tips. Maybe add a power bank or USB charger for your phone too.
