Weird idle & FI light on my SV650

I am hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. I've got a 2018 SV650 and I went to start her up and noticed the engine management and FI lights came on. It primes way longer than usual with a weird loud sound, and the idle jumps around between 1500–1800 RPM. The noise seems to come from under the airbox. The bike still starts instantly and rides great at higher speeds. But when I let off the throttle at lower speeds, it starts to judder pretty badly. Anyone run into this before?

Try to check for any loose hoses or connections around the airbox and fuel system. If you're comfortable and (only if you know how!), you could also try putting the bike in dealer mode to see if it shows any error codes on the dash.

Thanks, would try that, I'll also look into dealer mode to read any error codes on the dash

It's probably an issue with the fuel pump, a clogged fuel filter, or maybe the secondary throttle valve actuator. In cases like this, getting a diagnostic scan is the crucial first step.
